Dear Istanbulites,

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, together with our affiliated institutions and subsidiaries, works for a fair, green and creative Istanbul. With the goal of building an Istanbul where our fellow citizens look to the future with hope and confidence, and where they enjoy living, we are bringing important works and services to our city.

We have put an end to practices such as public space occupations, sacrificing green areas for profit, and using public resources only for certain groups in Istanbul. In all the projects we have implemented, we have looked after the interests of 16 million Istanbulites and provided equal service to everyone without discrimination.

With this understanding, we have implemented many valuable projects that were not previously on Istanbul's agenda. Our Home Istanbul nurseries, student dormitories, Suspended Bill, Istanbul Public Milk and Mother Card supports, City Restaurants, Regional Employment Offices and non-refundable scholarship projects, among the projects we have implemented, have become Istanbul's pride. 

Istanbul is experiencing the period with the most infrastructure investment and the most metro lines opened in its history since 2019. We have carefully preserved the heritage of our ancestors and industrial heritage and brought them to our city with new functions. By building more than 2 million kilometers of natural gas lines, we brought natural gas to neighborhoods that did not have natural gas before. We restarted agricultural production in Istanbul. We produced free seedlings for our farmers at the Seedling Production Center we established; we provided feed, fertilizer and irrigation support to our producers. 

We will continue to work to advance our beautiful city in every field from education to health, from sports to culture and arts, from green areas to infrastructure investments. In order to create a period that achieves more innovative, stronger and more valuable works; we will work hard to set the bar above our performance in the past period in the next five years. 

We are in the second century of our Republic, which is the source of all our achievements, as pointed out by the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who said, "Today, the secret of all the achievements we can rightfully be proud of lies in the establishment of the new Turkish State." I know and believe that in the second century of our Republic, we will achieve many more successes together with our nation. We will succeed together.
